Sendebud fra sandkassa

The last two years Rigla have paved their way through Norway's many scenes. On stage, they have developed a bunch of songs through interaction and improvisation, and finally the time had come to get their music recorded. The result is their debut album “Sendebud fra Sandkassa”. On the album, the band has drawn inspiration from the most ordinary moments, such as late night out on the town, annoying people and hangovers, to the small wondrous situations you might suddenly find yourself in, when encountering both painful, absurd, beautiful and intimate love.

Through witty texts, combined with a unique band-constallation and a fearless mix of genres, Rigla find themselves some place between tradition and innovation, between the raw, unfiltered and the playful. The result is a handful of songs, each with its own character, that inspire both dance and tears. It is hard to describe exactly what Riglas music is - you simply have to experience it!
