Action Jazz presents Noizes vol. 1

There's a new kind of jazz in town... ACTION JAZZ – a jazz that knows no boundaries or bracket, but that exclusively cultivates the music and the energy of the musicians.

Now the small record label of the same name is releasing its first cassette compilation of distilled action delivered by ten of the label's favorite artists. Steve Wynn (The Dream Syndicate), Emil Nikolaisen (Serena Maneesh), Ryan Van Kriedt (Dead Skeleton) and Møster! all contribute side by side with young jazzists like Signe Emmeluth and her Amoeba; Bergen's General Post Office and Pang of Worry; as well as seasoned Oslo artists like Beglomeg, Gerilja, Human Inferno and the mysteriously obscure band The Heds, whose history no one quite knows ... It sounds energetic, noizy, wild and deliciously alive!
