Michael Duch | Tomas Järmyr | Kristoffer Lo

A new acoustic ensemble consisting of three of Norway's most unique musicians: Michael Francis Duch (double bass), Tomas Järmyr (percussion), and Kristoffer Lo (brass). Together they explore the boundaries between improvisation, drones and ambient, in an acoustic format focusing on timbre and silence.

With inspiration spanning from the monumental sound landscapes of Sunn O))) to the structural minimalism of Philip Glass and Morton Feldman, the trio creates music which is both meditative and intense. It pulses slowly, lets the sounds breathe, and invites the listener into a sensory space where time and structure dissolve.

This is not a project seeking fast solutions, but music for the those who dare to listen slowly.
